All my love to website designers, creators cause next time I move websites, I will get a grant, or anything, anything so I don’t have to do this again. It’s something to move how many years onto a different platform. I’m not the one to call if you need help with this lol. I broke under coding (I don’t know what happened or where I went wrong) and eventually bought a website template (Etsy)
I was on Shopify for 4 years and with the changing economy and the US dollar with CAN, the subscription that was reasonable, suddenly wasn’t ideal. Squarespace is not fully Canadian but charges in CAN dollar. It works out to around $322 (use a 20% off code!) for a year instead of Shopify’s US only currency (that changes every few months) that charges $700+ something per year….As a small business owner, little things like this do matter. Streamline everything and try and pay all subscriptions yearly at once.
Also, allllll my love, thank you. I was not able to move everything over since the amount of products was insane. I saved my favorites, which if you stop by often, will slowly upload over the weeks. But again…thank you so much for supporting and following for so many years. I did have to option to move my customer list over (I didn’t) but looking back over all of you, thank you.
I think this is common knowledge, but we small business owners have regulars. And we do remember you. I remember where my favorite paintings went, I remember those that rushed by at events, where my favorite beadwork has gone and to finally meet you in person at events, or online. It’s just everything. And thank you for the friendships, the coffees, the thrift store meet ups and all the constant messages. Mahsi for the last few years and bear with me as I work on this website!
